Supernova by Marissa Meyer
5.0
I’m sooooo going to miss renegades they way it ended closed up everything but I can’t help but feel like Merissa Meyer not only left room for another possible addition to the renegades universe but also slightly hinted. It ended off with Magpie’s point of view in the epilogue which think was actually a great idea, magpie said
“But it was only a matter of time. The greed would come back. The power struggles. The conflicts. This phase would pass, and the problems would still be there. Only now, each side would have a bigger army, with stronger weapons.”
But this trilogy has been such a Engaging read especially this last book, their where actually twist and turns at every corner and just when you think your getting to the climax IT BOILS UP TEN FOLD. When every got revealed about the deaths of Adrien and Nova’s parents it was literally mind boggling but it all came to together and made sense, the plot in this book was *chefs kiss* well done Merissa. But then I felt so emotional for them because Adriens worst fear he never even knew came true and he tried to sacrifice himself to stop phobia and Novas whole life was literally a lie, everything that happened to her family everything she was led to believe about good and bad.
Then I remembered all the things Winston said before his death
“I wanted to tell you…” He coughed. The ice in his chest jostled with each movement. “I’m no longer sure … I was meant to be … a villain.” His gaze softened affectionately as he squeezed her hand. She wasn’t sure when he’d started holding it. “I’m not sure you are, either. Maybe … none of us…”
AND AFTER REALIZING MAGPIE is Novas baby sister Evie I literally lost my mind
