It was okay.
I love E.M. Forster but I think this was my least favorite of his novels (just slightly under Where Angels Fear to Tread).
Not bad by any means but I don't think it sang quite like some of his other novels. Plus it's a British author talking about British Imperialism in India so you definitely have to take it all with a grain of salt (that being said, I do think he's rather critical of British Imperialism given the year the book was published).
