Another highly emotional book, which lead me to tears multiple times. Once I got roughly halfway, I wanted to stop reading. I knew from that point forward the book would become depressing.
Suzanne Collins is a brilliant author. No character in the series is unflawed, making the experience feel even more real. I felt my heart being ripped out multiple times . For me, the fall in rating is due to sections of confusing writing within the book. For the majority of this book and the others in this series, I was able to picture what was going on. Unfortunately, I found some of the chapters in the Capitol confusing. I re-read a few to gain a better understanding, but was mostly unable to picture what Collins was trying to convey through the text.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this book, and look forward to recommending the series to lots of people!
