I wanted a fun, little, cozy read, and since everyone admires Harry Potter, I thought I would give it a try.
The movies never really stuck with me, so not remembering anything enriched the experience. I didn't expect a "children's book" to be this good! The plot is very well thought out, the characters burst to life, and the stakes are REAL! There was never a dull moment! Ever! To me, this book was perfect. I felt angry, happy, excited, scared, frightened, sad, tearful, anxious, and victorious all throughout the book, and for the first time in a while, I actually laughed a few times reading it. Truly a full experience.

The plot twist at the end was shocking!! I thought Snape was the villain! He still doesn't like Harry, but he's not evil. It's just so well written, and the clues were there, even if they were faint. Hagrid is so sweet; I love him! He and Dumbledore are my favorite characters aside from our protagonists. I almost cried while Dumbledore explained why Quirrell was burned from touching Harry 😭.

Alright then, off to the next one! 🏃🏻‍♀️
