Oh my goodness! This was such a fun read, and I'm so glad that I picked it up. Really feel like I need to buy copies of the secret project books to have on my shelves (as the shelf trophies that they are).
Audiobook narrators were magnificent as they always have been.
This read like a mixture of the Aurora Cycle books and an early England-time-travel novel with the mixed in handbook chapters (which reminded me of Magellan's data files). This was a wonderful blend of serious and whimsy.
