Reading this made me respect her in a new way and better understand all that she’s been through to reach this point in her career. The best parts of the book are everything leading up to her big break, and then it kind of just feels like a wave of listed accomplishments and milestones, but I suppose that’s kind of the point of a big break. Maybe I’m just jealous that she’s Joni’s bestie now (lol). Overall, it was a really engaging memoir !
