The Wizard Knight by Gene Wolfe

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.
I wanted desperately to love this book, because it has all the elements of a book I would really love: knights, quests, some of the coolest worldbuilding I've ever encountered, dragons, Fae, sea voyages -- it seemed like it would be perfect. However, the raging misogyny made would should have been the recipe for a new favorite book absolutely unpalatable. Women exist in this story to have boobs and throw themselves at the main character. I tried to ignore it but it makes itself impossible to ignore, both by its frequency and how obvious and unapologetic the objectification is. I am incredibly disappointed. Will probably not be picking up another Gene Wolfe book.
