I love Gilda so much (maybe I just relate to her idk). I wish I could live in this book tbh. She is just so 🫶🫶
I love her matter-of-fact style of narration; the use of first person and (mostly?) present tense makes her story feel so personal and intense. I felt every one of her emotions so deeply.
I saw it a lot on tiktok and sometimes those books are overhyped but I think this one is under hyped!
