Master of Pain by Wrath James White, Kristopher Rufty

4.0

Eroticism, passion, violence, exploitation and occultism, whipped together to make for an overall very exciting reading experience.

I’ve had minimal experience with this sub-genre of horror before, but since reading both The Devil’s Equinox by John Everson (Review here) and The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum, I was intrigued to read some more books inspired by true events and books on occultism. Having not been much of a True Crime girl before, I think I might be developing a taste for it.
