This book had such a bittersweet ending to it. I hated the two guys so much and I was happy how the Gorilla died. I just hated that the Jackal was smart enough to hide his dark, depraved self from so many people for so long. I love Olivia and how much of a fighter she is to survive along with Lucy. She felt great and like the two of them could be friends to help each other out. I cannot believe the Jackal was Carl, the same Carl that tried to pet Brutus and helped work on her house with Frank. He also had the nerve to say that his last words were “I love you” to Olivia. It’s disgusting that he thought they had something special between them when In reality he was just a monster that deserved to pay for his actions. I feel back for the ex-boyfriend though. He learned that his father was the cause for so many terrors in the girls lives. I’m glad she won’t have to live in fear anymore.
