The Man Who Played with Fire: Stieg Larsson's Lost Files and the Hunt for an Assassin, by Jan Stocklassa

4.0

I don't know what I expected going into this book but it wasn't what I got. It is much more than I could have ever imagined. I have read all 3 of Stieg Larsson's books and thought he was a great writer but didn't know anything about him personally except that he died relatively young. This book goes into whole other side of him and I'm so glad it has been made public. He was an amazing investigative research. This book is about the information he uncovered about the assassination of the Swedish Prime Minister, Olof Palme, in the 80s. Again, I knew nothing about this before reading the book. At the end of the book the case is still not solved but you defiantly feel as if you are closer to an answer thanks to Stieg's original research as well as Jan's more recent discoveries. I sure did learn a lot more about South Africa's corrupt and illegal dealings.
