Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body, by Roxane Gay
hopeful
sad
4.0
roxane is one of the strongest people i have read about. her ability to be so vulnerable in this kind of format is astounding as well as a huge service to so many people who might feel lost or lonely in their own bodies and/or trauma. her writing was gripping yet smooth, easy to read; i devoured this in 2 days. Hunger is heartbreaking, healing, and hopeful all at once.
