A thrilling book that I struggled to put down in the just over 24 hour period I read it in. It's not in-your-face with action like some thrillers can be, but I was constantly on the edge of my seat wanting to see what happened next. The cast of characters are interesting and charismatic in a way that made me genuinely stressed when things went south for them. Barring one that you spend very little time with I found all the book's narrators very interesting to live with.

I do however have one complaint, which docked this review a star,

which is that the epilogue is saccharine sweet. It was always going to be a "good" ending, I knew that, but what I got was comically smooth in a way that didn't fit with the state of the characters or the style of the book up until then. I wish those final pages had ended things slightly less perfectly.
