The best Colleen Hoover novel I’ve ever read. The twist at the end was actually good (though yes, there was a lengthy explanation). Parts of this book were horrifying. I was constantly trying to guess how it would end and I could not stop reading (finished this in four days). This reminded me of “Flowers in the Attic” by VC Andrews for some reason.
The only negative: the main character is annoying and downright unlikeable by the end (but it works with the ending imo).
Graphic: Child abuse, Child death, Death, Blood, Car accident, and Abortion
Minor: Ableism, Fatphobia, Infidelity, Misogyny, Violence, Medical content, Grief, and Pregnancy
