Just Another Missing Person by Gillian McAllister

3.0

The second half of this book was quite pacy with revelations and twists and reveals coming like calories in a bakery. I flew through the second half. I think there were still a few holes, or at least things that didn't feel quite as robust, but it was definitely more enjoyable for my tastes.

But getting there was a bit more of a struggle. I almost gave up at one point. The first half was less plot heavy and more focused on the moral decision Julia was being forced to make. It was setting up the characters and plot threads, but it was just a fraction too slow for me. I kept reading a couple of pages and then putting it down, but I am.glad that I kept going.
