Many a Twist: A Cork County Mystery by Sheila Connolly

5.0

By far the best book in this series thus far. There are a few “big” reveals and major developments in the characters’ lives, but the mystery is also pretty interesting and moves along at a good pace. The story is somewhat unbalanced in the sense that the mystery at times gets a bit lost behind all the other plots; there’s also just an absolute ton of relationships and names to remember and keep straight in this one. Maura might also be up to her old nonsense again with the attitude, but I’m hoping that’s just a temporary thing. Overall, this one is really worth the time.
