Astrid Parker Doesn't Fail by Ashley Herring Blake
4.0
I really enjoyed this one although not quite as much as Delilah Green. I really liked Astrid's character - seeing the uptight starchy character come apart is a favorite trope of mine. Although I think if someone read this book without reading Book 1, her character growth wouldn't be as interesting. To me, the end lost some steam - both characters were dreading confrontations (Jordan with Meredith and Astrid with her mother) and both of those confrontations seemed anti-climatic. I think I expected a bit more angst, especially with Meredith, who Jordan refuses to even think about for most of the book.
