Intriguing and different take on the omegaverse trope

When I picked up this one to review, I didn't realise it was the third in the series but I was able to read it without missing anything vital I'm sure.

I'd also never read this author before but I intend to go back and read the first two in the series at some point because I really loved both the unique take on the omegaverse and the world building.

This was a really good mix of sci-fi and historical Old West and it worked perfectly as the setting for the romance. I also liked the take on mPreg and the "biological alterations" which took place to allow Thomas to give birth.

The narrative was perhaps a tad untidy at times but I enjoyed the dynamic between both Helian and Thomas and the cast of secondary characters.
