One of my favourite French literature books, from my current favourite contemporary author! A delightful read, which made me reflect on life and the dreams we have as children that are confronted to the harsh reality of life and the cards you're dealt with. As you turn each page, you can't help but dwell on how different yet similar you are to these characters.
Incredibly well-written, with terribly flawed yet loveable characters. The setting makes it the perfect slow summer read.
