Good lord I don’t think I’ve ever been put through this much distress over a book before. Probably will not ever recover from the stinking piss scene.

I spent most of this book flip flopping between being thoroughly entertained, absolutely horrified, and wishing it would be over as soon as possible. Still, overall impression 4 stars? I honestly have no explanation for that. 

Only Lestat could have made me enjoy this book 🤷
