The Aly\Grey backstory I needed!
I read Shield of Shadow after reading the trilogy, and it did not disappoint. I loved the telling of Aly's backstory, but even more I loved the chemistry between Aly and Grey. While it's not necessary to read the prequel before the trilogy, I didn't quite understand Aly & Grey's connection until Shield of Shadow. It was beautifully written and the ending was magical.
