The Forest of Wool and Steel by Natsu Miyashita

3.0

I was given this gentle, lyrical novel about finding one's path in life as a Christmas gift and read it in two sittings. It's a simple read and beautifully - and seamlessly - translated from the original Japanese.
Not a lot happens in this book, but it reads effortlessly - and I now know a good deal more about piano tuning than I ever thought I would. (Note to self - call piano tuner.)
