This has been one of the ones that's been on my shelves for a while, so I used it as a pick me up after TTT & it was just the ticket! 

This first book in the series follows Ava Chen, a free spirit trapped by nightmares of a childhood she can’t remember & her brothers grumpy best friend Alex Volkov, a devil blessed with the face of an angel and cursed with a past he can’t escape... you can see where this is going, right? 

"He has a heart of ice... but for her, he'd burn the world." 

Please bear in mind, I always used to say, "Oh, I don't really read romance" & this is just your typical smutty romance... I loved every second 😂 

I 100% knew what was going to happen from the first chapter, but I still enjoyed all the character developments, the smut (ofc) & the all drama I was not expecting to be thrown in. 

I already have the rest of the series & shamelessly can't wait to read them 🤭
