Amazing read! I was hooked beginning to end, and it was really great reading it every time at the date of each journal entry/letter/etc.
Although lengthy at times (and with a dose of misogyny as per that time's views) the writing was really good! It was reflexive and omg so dramatic at times it was honestly funny. The suspense was masterfully built and the fact the novel was made of journal entries was so interesting (also they were so complete, who ever wrote suh detailed accounts in their diary?) and it was quite amusing to follow the story as it unfolds through the eyes of some of the characters (and that was effortless to follow, which impresses me a good deal).
In short I'm really glad to have finally read this classic and will likely read it again following the same schedule.
