Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.
This book is 29 chapters long and told out of order. The sequence wouldve been bearable if he could have edited any of it to not be so a) melodramatic and b) like... Narrowed it down a bit more. This is a whole autobiography, practically, not really a memoir. A memoir is supposed to have a theme, and like, vignettes. This is the whole damn thing. It feels like he's blabbering on at points, with no real direction or intention. I was interested in learning about his life, but there are times when it felt very...??? Fluffed??? Why do I need to know EVERY lover and movie? Idk. It felt very circular after a while.
