I liked it a lot! It was dark, mysterious, edgy, lol. I loved to see Andrew slowly open up to his new friends and form bonds. Start to heal his grief. It’s the kind of book where his fucked up mental health is a focus, even when it’s not, which I fuck with. I think I’m definitely gonna read it again. 

It actually deeply reminded me of “Wintergirls” by Laurie Halse Anderson, but less anorexic and more homosexual lol. 

You can definitely see connections to The Raven Cycle, but imo it is very different and still it’s own thing.
