The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman

Did not finish book.

There was a scene depicting violence against a character who had just started convincing himself that he was safe to go places alone. The elderly character was very introverted and the scene was too intimate for me to handle. It was also jarring because the narration seemed to be leading to a place where the character was safely rebuilding confidence in themselves.
