I am not usually down for dual timelines but sheesh it worked in this one. I am obsessed with Sarah and Jeffrey's relationship so I loved hearing the backstory (although I know they don't have a happy ending at the end of the series.) Also, I was super happy that Lena was not a core element of this book because I am sick of her ass.
The entire book was so fast-paced, not a dull moment. I will say, some of it is far-fetched. At this point in the series, the character's lives are far-fetched. Ain't no way individual people are experiencing these things over and over again. Also major trigger warnings for homophobia and child abuse.

Graphic: Child abuse and Homophobia
