Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry

5.0

Very cool zombie story. Unlike the Forest of Hands and Teeth, this book tries to retain the humanity of the zombies, and contrast it with the inhumanity of those that hunt them. I found the writing to be very well done, giving the reader an exciting story. Perhaps Tom Imura's socratic teaching sessions could have been a little less obvious, but I forgave that for the great story, scene setting, and character development.
