This was very much a filler book and I can definitely see why people skip it in the series. I think for a first read through, it is definitely an essential key to the story to help plug some gaps, i.e. the shift in Nesta’s character and Feyre and Rhysand’s “news” , but otherwise, I struggled to get through this as fast as I did the other books in the series so far. However, the last chapter is probably my favourite ending so far in the series
