absolutely love rebecca gibson as an author!!!! this book tackles the topics surrounding corsets that most don't consider, while also fighting the wrong assumptions about corsets (most consider corsets a damaging garment, but it was a garment with a purpose that promoted health and longevity). after this book, i consider corsets closer to transmasc chest binders (created by brands such as fytist, gc2b, etc) than compared to decorative garments. if you enjoyed this read, definitely look into her other works -- rebecca gibson is an amazing author who is very passionate and informative!! not to mention as one of her students, she is spectacular at teaching and conveying information.
