The Bodies Keep Coming: Dispatches from a Black Trauma Surgeon on Racism, Violence, and How We Heal by Brian H. Williams

I found this memoir to be absolutely fascinating! Williams is a trauma surgeon who was on the clock during the 2016 shooting of Dallas police officers during a Black Lives Matter protest. Throughout this novel, he contemplates racial inequity in health care, gun violence, and his own identity as a Black man in medicine. Overall, this was a well-written, thoughtful memoir that I would recommend to every type of reader.
