Matt Archer: Monster Hunter by Kendra C. Highley

4.0

Though this one started out a wee bit slow, it picked up speed (and my admiration) a chapter or two in. I liked the premise of a young Matt Archer finding out that monsters do exist. He learns that there's an aspect of the military out there fighting them. He is asked to join, even though he is a teen. As farfetched as that sounds, I was willing to go along for the adventure.
Kendra writes a good batch of monsters and the monster hunters after them. This is a decent start to a series I look forward to reading. Good thing I have the next two on the Nook....
