Amazing Gracie: A Dog's Tale by Dan Dye, Mark Beckloff

This would be the second time I read this book and it was just as good as the first time around. The amazing bond they have with Gracie is one that makes you think of a special pet in your own life. She inspires them to reach for what starts as a pipe dream and eventually becomes reality. A gentle, encouraging, and loving old soul Gracie teaches them new ways to look at life. And I would be lying if I said I didn't laugh or cry throughout this book. Just an amazing story.
