On the Way to the Wedding by Julia Quinn

3.0

A fun read, but suffers a bit because we don't know Gregory as well as we got to know the other Bridgerton siblings before their books. So at the start of the book Gregory is a bit of a cipher. But he's a fun POV, as is Lucy, and I did enjoy the little "In which our Hero and Heroine..." segments at the start of each chapter. A fun way to replace Whistledown columns or the letter excerpts that Quinn used in previous books.

This was also one of the books that felt like it had actually high stakes - this and Romancing Mister Bridgerton. You genuinely worry for the characters, and there's a suitable amount of dramatic action at the climax of the story. Now, on to the next!
