If I had a nickel for every time I had hear something along the lines of, “my mother was too loud on the phone,” from one of her books, I’d have at least two nickels. Write what you know I guess 🤷🏻♀️
Overall a good read. It was a slow start and I wasn’t originally into it, but it got better. That seems to be a theme for Freida. I guessed at the twist early in, but I was still pleasantly (disgustingly?) surprised. One down, a million more to go on my journey to read all her books.
