The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware

5.0

Wow. I don't ever expect much from thrillers because of how desensitized I am from being a horror fanatic, but this one gets five stars. I, for the life of me, could not see the ending coming. The spookiness that was thrown in was enough to keep even a horror fan hooked. I will say, the history behind Heatherbrae House could have been done better. It seemed thrown in and a bit convoluted for me, but luckily it wasn't a huge part of the plot so I didn't have to knock of a star. If you're on the fence about reading this, just pick it up. You won't regret the read!
