A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor by Kathryn Moon
5.0
Wow, just wow.
I openly admit I am very picky when it comes to my RH reads. So many are purely a grab for quick sales. Kathryn Moon has just become my go-to author for RH.
This story was so unexpected in so many good ways! MFC embraced her sexuality in such a beautiful yet steamy way and, while I would have liked to see more character development from her personally, I liked her. She had this innocence without being naive. A gentle femininity that just leaped from the pages.
The MMCs were so utterly distinguishable, I felt like I could reach out and touch them. How they met our MFC was also written so naturally, nothing felt forced. They were all believable.
Overall, her combination of monster-esque characters with a fun twist on mythology and folklore, and the huge splash of a gothic atmosphere, had me utterly hooked.
Highly recommend this series! (Way to go Kathryn!)
