Self-Made Boys by Anna-Marie McLemore

3.75

Apparently I took no notes while reading this, which usually means it was enjoyable but not breathtaking. There were some wonderful quotes that I took note of though:

“But men like that did not know we were as divine as the heavens. We were boys who had created ourselves. We had formed our own bodies, our own lives, from the ribs of the girls we were once assumed to be.”

It was difficult to imagine the characters as young teens and not adults (some of them may have been 18) as they were all living by themselves but unmarried.
