I wish I could adequately describe the ways in which this book healed my soul and soothed my broken heart, but I fear I will never be able to. This story held up a mirror to my life and invited me to look at myself through a set of new, kinder eyes. More than anything, this book filled me with hope. The final pages had me sobbing on my couch, and as the story concluded, I hugged the book to my chest and cried tears of joy and relief. This book found me, or perhaps I found it, at precisely the right moment in my life, and all I want to do is thank the beautiful soul who put this spark of light and hope into the universe. Genevieve Wheeler, if you just so happen to read this review, please never stop writing. Your book genuinely changed my life for the better, and I will never forget how this book made me feel seen and known and loved. Thank you for sharing this story with the world. Adelaide means everything to me. Thank you so much.
