I listened to the audiobook and it’s mainly in the child perspective in a child’s voice and it’s a bit creepy. In a nutshell, Bella is 5? I think and she has an imaginary “other Mommy” who visits her. The visits got more frequent and the little girl was being pressured by her other mommy to give in to her.
Home life isn’t a typical happy home and you find out more as this story progresses. I wasn’t sure how the story would end, but it certainly was not what happened. I did find a lot of repetitive things happening so it made the story drag a bit. Overall, this was ok.
