The start of the book… was slow for me. I almost wanted the science talk to be glazed over a little bit so I could get more into the thriller action!
After 1/4 way in, once the husband finally starts picking up speed on his sick wife, I enjoyed the book more. It’s a mix of genres… thriller, love story, contemporary fiction, mystery? Not sure if I loved or hated that part yet.
The author did do a good job putting the pieces of the story back together… but I did not enjoy the ending. Just fell… flat. Blah. Odd way to go out.
