This is the first Christmas Tessa and Weston are spending together. Both are planning to make it the best Christmas ever. When Tessa’s mother comes home to visit before her usual time, Tessa wants to avoid her.

Weston feels like Tessa is using him to get away from her mother. He tries to make Tessa see that everyone deserves a second chance, but maybe he won’t be able to fix her relationship with her mother.

Having to plan what to give each other on Christmas and dates might not make this Christmas the best one.

Tessa annoyed me in this book. I know that her mother wasn’t there when she needed her most, but she’s trying now and Tessa is not even giving her a chance to explain.

Weston is my favorite. He’s wise for his age, but then again, he went through a lot, and being the daredevil he was added to his personality. I loved watching the characters interact with each other. After reading 100 Days of Sunlight, I wanted to see how Tessa would fit in with the other characters. In this book, I got to see that.

This book is a sweet Christmas story that will warm you up. It made me shed a tear or two at one point. It’s a short sweet book that I enjoyed reading.
