I will fully admit to being biased toward this book because I happen to be named after Jordan Baker.
That said, I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this book. The writing style fully captures the turmoil of the characters and their longing to live out the past in their present. If you read it in high school and didn't enjoy it, I highly recommend reading it again as an adult who knows what it's like to have made mistakes, to live with regrets, and to cling to hope as a refuge.
