Assassin's Code, by Jonathan Maberry

Vampires and nukes make for a very cool combination. I really liked the way they handled vampires in this story. It was different and familiar at the same time.
I didn't like the interludes as much as I wanted to. The idea of seeing that history was intriguing, but it ended up feeling like excess exposition that the story could have done without.
