This book was really complicated. Marianne and Connell frustrated me a lot, but I also just wanted to give both of them a really big hug. The fact that there were no quotation marks was really annoying in the beginning, but I got used to it pretty quickly. There are a lot of layers to this book I think, and I definitely didn't get everything. I did enjoy it thougha dn got really attached to be honest. Will definitely be reading more of Sally Rooney
