This is a great early chapter book for emerging readers!
Noah is a future zoo-keeper whose parents don’t want her to have a dog. When she finds a small animal (what they think is a guinea pig) for sale at a garage sale, they agree to let her buy it.
As the animal grows and grows, they begin the journey of finding out what species it is. Noah finds out, much to her dismay, on a trip to the zoo.
Of course, the day is saved and Noah is a real hero for her mystery animal and many more!
