This and this and this.
I am made of memories.
It is easy to forget the fact that not once throughout the 300+ pages of this book did they professed love to each other. This is a coming-of-age love story that is crafted like a painting, with quiet, thoughtful, conscientious Patroclus and fiery, pure-hearted Achilles.
"You would not be displeased, I think. With how you look now."
This book is also a beautiful story, literally. I found myself reading out loud passages because of how poetic and melodic they sound.
Definitely will be a reread. Possible multiple. Definitely multiple.
