Did not finish book. Stopped at 44%.

Double dnf-ing is so hard when I'm halfway through both of the books but it needed to be done. Every character in this is insufferable (not in a fun way), everything that happens is so needlessly drawn out (I'm on page 150 something and all that has occurred thus far could have been distilled into like 20 pages) and the framing device really strains credulity. I simply do not care enough about the ""mystery"" to keep putting myself through pages and pages of demon children, helicopter mom antics, and gross dude behavior. Gootbyyeeee
