Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman

5.0

Neil Gaiman does a fantastic job with Neverwhere. Hands down, I'd say this is the best work from him that I have read. Neverwhere explores the literal underworld and lost places of London, a world that is just out of sight for those not born to it. Richard Mayhew's ordinary existence gets turned upside down as he is thrust into the realm in which he does not belong. Thankfully, the reader gets to accompany him along his crazy and somewhat horrifying adventures throughout the London Underground that you've never traveled on. The warning "Mind the Gap" is quite literal...
